Dotty & Spotty

I was feeling a bit retro-ish today (like most days when I have time to sit down and pick a mood) and this was a template I had in the wings from a couple of years ago that never quite got finished.
It's a dark backgrounded template - which is not something I usually do - but I love the yellow dots, the brown background and the blue highlights.  I hope you like it too! <3

Totally Yellow - wide photo blog template!

OK, I can't take all the credit for this one as I was largely inspired by Sarah's Totally Severe backgrounds.  I LOVE this one and decided to use it in a template for you.  I know some people may be scared of yellow, but there's no need to be because it's a lovely colour. 

Some colours can bite, but I promise this yellow doesn't.


There are two things you should know about this template:

1. It is a very wide template with one main blog area.  There are no sidebars on the "side" - they are actually located on the bottom of the page.  Check out the demo site to see for yourself.
   
2. The blog title font (and post title fonts) are actually using Maiden Orange Google web font.  This is NOT changeable from within the 'Template Designer' area of Blogger.  Why? Because Google have not made this a font for use with Blogger yet (I DON'T KNOW WHY!) and I am too impatient to wait.  So I have hard-coded the font in and it is therefore not changeable.  The body font - as well as all font colours, ARE changeable.

Hello, Yellow!

Ok, I like the photo blog idea so I made another one with the same basic layout as 'Say Cheese!' but this is brighter with a header image by the ultra talented Pixels & Ice Cream.

"Oh!" she said - super wide blogger template - bright yellow with pretty girl!

I wanted to make something bright. Before you ask -- yessss, maybe I will make more colours soon, it shouldn't be too tricky for me, just let me know if there's a specific colour background you want (I'm not going to change the girl though, because we could all sit here and talk colours until the cows came home). Well.... ok.... I could be persuaded to make it with a different hair colour.

Hey Pretty Lady! - XML blogger template

Before I post the template I just want to let you know about this post (incase you haven't read it yet) which has something to do with keeping your widgets when you change templates! YES IT IS NOW POSSIBLE! Read about it here.

I am trying to get my head around how this may affect my templates when you upload them. Is it possible for me to make my templates with no sidebar and "main blog" data? I have no idea. But if you have any problems, please let me know and I'll try and figure out what the best way of making my templates is. Urgh, I have a feeling things might go a little crazy.

Dandy - XML blogger template

Here is a template with a dark (black) background with a beautiful dandelion image. You can change the red header text to be whatever colour you want but I thought the red suited the yellow quite well.

Daisy Chains - XML blogger template

Sorry for my lack of posting of late. I am been a busy busy {busy!!} bee!

Where do busy bees hang out when they're not doing regular things? Why in fields of daisies of course! This is a pretty simple template with ~everyone's favourite thing~ rounded corners. It's simple but sometimes simple is good. Enjoy!

Here is a delightful lollipop themed blog template (header image by Flóra at Flickr.com - CC 2.0) and I adore it! There are quite a few changeable elements to this design - the border colour (pink the example), the background (grey in the example) and the inner blog colour - below the header image (white in the example) are all changeable. So you can make this template as bright as you like! Enjoy!

I think that the navbar colour of "tan" looks awesome with this template (just like I have in the test blog). To change it just go to LAYOUT >> PAGE ELEMENTS and edit the navbar. I'm soooo sick of seeing that blue navbar! You can change the colour, people!
