Dotty & Spotty

I was feeling a bit retro-ish today (like most days when I have time to sit down and pick a mood) and this was a template I had in the wings from a couple of years ago that never quite got finished.
It's a dark backgrounded template - which is not something I usually do - but I love the yellow dots, the brown background and the blue highlights.  I hope you like it too! <3

Say Cheese! (the perfect template for a photo blog!)

Now I know this template preview (below) is going to look like all hamburger but in actual fact it's a very neat super wide Blogger template perfect for a photoblog!

The maximum sized photo I would recommend is 900 pixels (as the template itself is not much wider) but if you click through to the test blog you will see that I have put a few example images in there so you can see how they look.

Obviously I don't recommend uploading your photos on Blogger (because they can be re-sized too small and look kinda crap in this super wide template). I would opt for using Photobucket or Flickr pics here. Then you'll know that they'll be very clear!

Oh, and the sidebars (3) are actually in the footer of the blog. I like it!

Lady on the Side - 2 Column template with feature lady!

Here we have a delightful blogger template with a woman on the side. Literally! This has a main blog area and a somewhat recessed sidebar - a lovely change from the ordinary blogs that just line them both up together. I hope someone out there likes this....

Mint, Latte & Pink versions of "Oh!" She Said!

Alrighty alrighty!

I do love the last blogger template I made - "Oh!" she said and I have now made it in three different colour combinations: Mint, Latte & Pink!

I haven't made a live preview blog to view how these look, but you can see the previous {yellow} one here.

Remember that if you want the date to show up as "Friday April 2, 2010", you'll have to go to to SETTINGS > FORMATTING under the menu tabs and then selecting the 'Date Header Format to be the same as below:

Here is a template which is quite subtle yet lovely. I like the colours a lot (I thought about using pink text but decided on green for the headers - of course this is changeable from within the "Fonts & Colours" area so you can alter this to be whatever you want. I also think that orange would look lovely).

The frame/doodle in the header area is by the exceptionally talented Jen Furlotte at pixelsandicecream.com (possibly one of the best URLs ever!) and I full advise you to go and check out her extremely well priced graphic goodies! *sigh* I love people who share! Enjoy.

Ahh, another lovely pattern from Pattern Cooler - seriously, go there now for the best patterns you've seen for ages! This background is beautiful and available in many variations (another one of my faves is this green one - a much larger scale than the image I've used in the background here). Ahh, beautiful. Faux Jungle - XML blogger template

Awww, I love this one - it's kind of tropical (which cheers me up a lot as I'm in the middle of winter here!) - I plan on making different inner background colours, just in case you don't like the dark brown, so stay tuned. I'll try and post them in the next day or so. I think that the navbar colour of "tan" looks awesome with this template (just like I have in the test blog). To change it just go to LAYOUT >> PAGE ELEMENTS and edit the navbar. I'm soooo sick of seeing that blue navbar! You can change the colour, people!

Old Time Collars - Free Blogger XML template

I think pictures of old fashion can be really amusing, so saying that, here's a design that's quite funky and uses some old pics of collar styles. Won't be everyone's cup of tea, but it's very "me" (meaning you'd be hard-pressed to find a template like this one). Perhaps I should do more "classic-ish" templates, but that's not the way my mind works most of the time.
