Sing Me a Song, Little Bird

This is an ultra sweet template with grey colouring and splashes of pink in the text headers and a little bird perched in a tree.  So cute!

I have also given the template a border around the middle of it - not something you see all the time but I think it's lovely. I hope you like it too :)

Pink & Lilac Love Letter Templates!

Wow, I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all the feedback I have received for this "Love Letter" template - I did take on board some advice and have made a lilac and pink versions:

She May Adore Me - Blogger Template with BONUS BUTTONS!

This was a half-made template I have had in the wings for a while... I was never quite sure how to finish it off. I have just noticed in the last week or two that Google Font Directory has grown even bigger (YAY!) and they have added more fonts, including the font I have used in this template 'Mountains of Christmas'. So I think I found a perfect match for the black tree in the header image as the font is kind of spindly like the tree!

If you don't like the font that I have used in this template, please feel free to change it (more information on how to do that here). Basically it's just a matter of looking for where I have used the 'Mountains of Christmas' font and replacing it with another font name - from Google Font directory - you want to use.

STOP THE PRESS - BONUS BUTTONS!

I have made some buttons for your sidebar that match this blog template. You may chose to use them away from this template, that is fine. The only rules are that they can be used for any purpose but you may not distribute them or sell them.

I have made 12 buttons - facebook, twitter, myspace (do people still use that? I'm not sure), email etc.

Pretty Fly (for a butterfly) - 3 column pretty pink template

Hello! I have been incredibly busy of late and haven't had a lot of spare time for blogger designs. Sorries :( How cool is it that I now have over 2,000 Google followers now though?

Gosh, I cannot thank you enough. Really. Thank you!

I do have quite a few in the works however and that means if I get my act together then maybe I can get them finished. Anyhow, onto more pink gradient-type matters like this template below. So pretty and pink and has a butterfly (thanks to Jen at Pixels & Ice Cream). I know a lot of people want 3 column templates so I hope someone likes it.

If you want to make your own header, go right ahead (you should make a transparent PNG file). I made an example that you can see how it may look here:

Make my own header?

To successfully make your own header, follow the following guides:

• Make the header a transparent .png file (so you can see the spotty bg behind it)
  
  
• You can make transparent pngs with my favourite online image editor Pixlr (yes, it's FREE and quite comparable to Photoshop).
  
  
• You want to allow about 100px to 150px transparent "padding" above the text (within in the image I'm talking) so that it's going to be aligned within the spotty bit. If you don't put this padding in and try to insert the header image, it's not going to be in the right place and will look WEIRD! I hope that makes sense, leave me a comment if it doesn't and I'll try to explain more.
  
  
• As always, upload your header image by clicking on: LAYOUT > PAGE ELEMENTS and then clicking "Edit" in the header area. You want to upload your header image, but ensure you DON'T HAVE "shrink to fit" selected. Also make sure you HAVE "instead of title & description" selected.

One of my most popular templates is Flower Pink Border (yeah, not a very creative name I know) and I have been meaning to make it into another colour FOR-EVER! Here is a fairly simple yet pretty pink Blogspot template with fantastical background by Jen Furlotte from Pixels & Icecream.

{{I know that some of my designs often appear simpler than those offered on other sites but I guess you have to understand that I ensure that (99% of) my templates look great on all browsers.  And I also try and make sure that every font and font colour is customizable.  A lot of other templates aren't that adaptable}}

Faux Jungle - XML blogger template

Awww, I love this one - it's kind of tropical (which cheers me up a lot as I'm in the middle of winter here!) - I plan on making different inner background colours, just in case you don't like the dark brown, so stay tuned. I'll try and post them in the next day or so. Cat Napper - free XML template

Here's a super cute blog template with your own navigation bar. The "home" link is already working, and there are instructions in the code, but here's how to add your own links:

1. Log into blogger. Click on "EDIT HTML"
   
   
2. Scroll down the large box of code until you see the following (it's near the end)
   
   <li><a href="'/'">Home</a></li>
   <li><a href="'#'">Link Here</a></li>
   <li><a href="'#'">Link Here</a></li>
   <li><a href="'#'">Link Here</a></li>
   

To add your own links:
replace the "#" symbol with your link URL and then edit the "Link Here" text to be the name of your link (see colour coding below). So if you wanted to put a link back to me, this is what you'd change one of the lines to be:

<li><a href="'http://www.yummylolly.com'">Yummy Lolly</a></li>

You can remove or add any lines as you wish. You just have to add them before the </ul> code.

SOME NEWS: Apologies for not being around lately. I am moving home at the end of next week and this means that I will be without internet for about a week or two (arrr!).

Yes, ok, I have another admission to make! I am having twins! I'm halfway through (and it's extremely scary to think I will have two babies by January 2009) but it's also thrilling! I found out yesterday that they are twin boys (not identical). So this basically means that I'll be making blogger templates for a while to come as I juggle two babies.
