yummylolly.com is now BloggerCandy.com! GIVEAWAY! GIVEAWAY! Win a premium template!

Yes.  It's true.

yummylolly.com is now BloggerCandy.com

Huh? What? Why?
I had bought my domain through Blogger and it had lapsed and I never received the expiring domain email addresses due to an email drama.  And now someone else has bought it.

So it is all my fault.

I was pretty devastated last night but I was also battling my first ever bout of food poisoning at the same time and had a lot of trouble comprehending what was going on - let's just say it was a very bad day!  There was nothing I could do.

(edit: the new purchaser has contacted me with a price I cannot afford, so oh well, life goes on)

I have updated my Feedburner link so if you are subscribed via email or Google Reader etc then there is nothing you need to do. You will be up to date!

So to celebrate the new site URL, I am having a competition!

I am giving away 5 templates from suckmylolly.com (my premium template site!)

There are 4 possible entries per person.

I think it's ultra lame when people say you have to "like" something on Facebook, or tweet about it (how am I going to count that?) so I'm not doing that.  Here is how you can enter.  You can enter just one way, or you can enter all 4 ways.

Please leave a separate comment per entry so I can easily calculate the entries.
If you write all your entries in one comment then it will only be counted as a single entry and your chances will be lower!
  1. Leave a comment on this post telling me a good name for my upcoming template that looks like this.  If I like your selection the most, I will use your title! Be creative! (1 entry)

  2. If you are using one of my templates already, change the links in the base of your template to not be to yummylolly.com but to be for bloggercandy.com.  Instructions are here. Please leave your blog URL in your comment so I can check it (1 entry)

  3. Put one of my buttons in your sidebar/footer of your blog.  If you already have one then updating it also counts. Please leave a comment with your blog URL so I can check. Different buttons can be found here (1 entry)

  4. Please leave a comment on this post telling me your 'dream' template ie: what you like and don't like? Suggestions etc (1 entry)

  • Please note that this competition is for 5 individuals to win a template from suckmylolly.com - this is ONLY for BLOGGER.

  • The winner/s can select any single template off my partner site suckmylolly.com. Once I have received their email I will send them the template within 24 hours.

  • The templates do not show your blog title and description but do include a blank header image for you to edit yourself. If you want more information about that, read this.

  • I will not make any changes to the design (colours etc). The templates are offered AS IS.

  • Maximum of 4 entries per person.  Each entry must be made in a separate comment on this post to count, as mentioned above.

  • Once a winner has been emailed, if I do not receive any communication from the winner in 3 days, I will choose another winner.

  • A winner will be chose at random by selecting a comment number from random.org.  If the same person is chosen twice, I will select another winner.

Entries close at 9pm next Monday May 30th!
Move fast, people, it's not open for long!

Thanks for your support.

  1. thx for the update. I always enjoy your designs a lit. I think it's very rude that the other person claimed your expired domain and want to sell it back to you for more money. we need people with integrity!!! pff. well, good luck and keep on creating!

  5. Entry #4 - my perfect template would be something stylish and elegant but still slightly kitch. Something which would suggest professionalism but also approachability. Probably subtle pastel colours...lilac is a favourite colour!

  15. Comment 1. Title: Maid Marian. I saw the template and it reminded me of the cartoon Robin Hood- but girly. Maybe because the flowers and vines kind of look like arrows??

  16. Comment 2 for question 4. I love a large font for a title with just a big block of color behind it. I also like wide screens with plenty of space.

  17. I feel for you - and think its very cheeky for someone to claim your name and then try to sell it back to you!

Just in case you need my blog URL: http://wildhope39.blogspot.com/

Entry 1: Couldn't decide between these two.. take your pick...
    Afternoon Delight
    or
    A Hint of Cinnamon

  18. Entry 4: (I'm skipping 2 & 3)

My ideal template would be fresh and blue, oceans, frangipanis, think Hawaii, allowing for a photo banner as the header, big splashes of water, dripping with tropical flowers. A totally refreshing place to be!

My dream template is simple yet elegant one. Colors pink and white are my favorite for my blog. Fresh into the eyes to attract readers!! Not so much drawings or gadgets. Just simple. ^_^

  24. Entry #4: I like something cute but not too girly as I use my blog for our family site, so gender neutral is great. Polka dots and gingham are my favourite patterns and love soft curves as opposed to harsh corners! Your stuff is always right on the mark though!!

  25. Entry #1: Earl Grey (as in the English tea.)

    Entry #2: Cherry Blossom.

My dream template would be something that isn't fussy to install. I don't like it when a template requires me to mess around a lot with HTML :(.

  32. Entry #3 done: http://www.dandeliontalk.com/ At the bottom right sidebar

  33. Entry #4: Something light color and simple, chic but not too feminine, I don't like too many pictures for the banner (like scrapbook style). I actually want to know if there's possible to have unisex template but 60% girly 40% boyish, so all gender can enjoy the blog. My fav.color light blue or light teal :)

  34. Entry #2: Thank you for providing such cute blogger templates! I use your designs on both of my blogs and have updated the html to reflect your new site!

  39. Entry #4 Dream Template:

I just discovered your site a few days ago and love it. I like simple templates as far as the header goes but I love whimsical elements like an icon where I have search this blog, my website but instead of a plain bullet like I have now I'd love a cute flower etc., I love pastel colours (pink, blue)but I also love templates that are white with pops of colours throughout. I love anything that can be customized easily so if I wanted a flower icon to list my website I could then change it to a bubble, etc. I love 3 columns and it's all about flexibility because I get bored with the same template and look. I think horizontal tabs at the top of the blog would be cool too (Search This Blog, My Website, my post, etc.)

    Michelle

  40. 4. It would be cool if there was a widget section thingy where you could have an "about me" in pretty fonts & such.
idk if i make sense. ):

  46. and finally #4 - i've used your whimsy template and am currently using bunting, both of which i just love! i like simple templates that still have some flair so that they don't distract from the blog but also provide a pretty backdrop. you accomplish this quite well with all of your templates! personally, i'd like to see a template that has a city skyline, maybe with some birds, as the header for all us city dwellers writing about city life :) but honestly, just keep up the good work!

  47. or an alternate entry #1 "the power of flowers"

  48. Entry #4: My dream template would be one that captures a hectic life style but in an organized way. It would also have a lot of red! I love red!!

  49. Entry #1 - Polka Flower!

Entry #4 - A vintage carnival theme! Stripes and big top tents, high wire chicks in corsets with fancy hair styles.
